Sovryn is creating an open, fair, and transparent financial system for the world. Bitcoin empowers individuals with monetary self-sovereignty by providing a decentralized and censorship-resistant form of digital currency. Sovryn enables people to expand upon the monetary freedom afforded by Bitcoin to achieve complete financial self-sovereignty.

Do you want to help develop a full-stack financial operating system to provide the entire world with a transparent, open, and incorruptible financial solution that is decentralized, borderless, and able to operate at a global scale? If that is your vision, Sovryn is the place for you.
While Sovryn has a legal entity, we operate as a networked group of individuals working toward a common aim. Being a contributor to Sovryn is not being an employee in the traditional sense. You will be responsible and liable for any payroll contributions or tax obligations in accordance with your jurisdiction of residence or taxation.
Sovryn has no offices and is an entirely remote organization. That means you’re free to work wherever you like. We have regular meetings together and find that our contributors tend to self-organize and get together in groups. We use Discord as our messaging platform and our Forum for more long-form communication. We have regular team voice calls, and we stream our bigger meetings live for anyone to attend.
We welcome inquiries both from volunteers and those looking for a compensated position. We have a large number of energetic and skilled volunteers in our community, many of whom have made substantial contributions to Sovryn.
Some examples of volunteer contributions:
If you have skills that you would like to contribute to the mission of Sovryn, we want to get to know you. We would like to assess how your skills fit with our current needs and see how you can join with us in realizing our vision. We ask that you go through an application and interview process just as job applicants do. This will give you an opportunity to think through your skills and experiences that might be beneficial to Sovryn, and it will give us the information we need to determine how best to use your energy and expertise for the benefit of Sovryn. While your documentation does not have to be as formal as a job application, the better you can describe your vision, interests, and expertise, the better we can help you match up with opportunities within our overall project. To volunteer, just follow Our Hiring Process below.
Any open positions are listed on the Careers page on the website.
Our hiring process has three stages: application, assessment, and decision.
To apply, you send us your CV and any other supporting information (cover letter, portfolio, website links, etc.) to [email protected], and we use that data to determine which candidates we should invite for assessment. At this stage, we’re looking to see if you have relevant experience; a passion for blockchain technology, open-source software, and cryptocurrencies; and alignment with our principles and vision.
If we determine there’s a good match, we’ll invite you to have an initial interview. In the initial call, we’ll be looking to understand your background, skills, interests, and motivation for joining Sovryn. We’ll also share more about life at Sovryn, answer any questions you have, and describe the recruiting process in detail. If the initial conversation is promising, you’ll meet more contributors to Sovryn via either interviews or assessments (depending on the role we are trying to fill).
At this point, we’ll make a decision on whether we believe you’d be the right fit for Sovryn. We take into account all the information gathered from your application and assessment stages. If the fit looks good, we’ll make you an offer to join the team. For paid positions we’ll offer you a salary.
Paid team members can choose between two compensation payment types: payment in a dollar stablecoin (XUSD or USDT) or payment in SOV (the native token of Sovryn). Team members can also choose to receive a split between the two payment types.
Additionally, team members are provided generous wellness and technology benefits.
We are serious about privacy and transparency. We strive to request only useful and required data and not to hold that data longer than necessary. This is a quick explanation of what data we obtain, how we use that information, and how to update/control that information.
