The following section describes the process of bridging ETH from the Ethereum network to the RSK network variation, ETHs, and mentions also its further use within the Sovryn platform. This bridging operation consists of two operations:
- 1) Bridging ETH to Sovryn
- This section provides information about bridging ETH to the Sovryn app. The flow starts in the user's Portfolio page from where is a user guided through the easy-to-follow Bridge GUI.
- 2) Providing the liquidity using the Sovryn AMM
- This section provides information about adding users' ETH to the Sovryn Automated market makers (AMM) and its use in Yield Farming.
¶ Bridging ETH to Sovryn
¶ 1. Access the SOVRYN dapp
- Go to https://live.sovryn.app to access the dapp.
¶ 2. Connect your wallet
- On the top-right of the screen, connect your wallet by clicking the Connect Wallet button.
- Be sure your wallet is switched to the RSK mainnet.
¶ 3. Navigate to the Portfolio page
- Using the top-bar main navigation menu of the main Sovryn app page, select the Portfolio tab, or proceed with this link.
The Portfolio page is displayed. Look for the ETHS dedicated row decorated with the Ethereum logo. - Click Deposit.
The new Bridge GUI is displayed.
¶ 4. Operate with the Bridge GUI
- Select the original network from which you want to bridge your Ethereum to Sovryn:
- Binance Smart Chain Network
- Ethereum Network
¶ 5. Switch to the required network using your wallet
- Based on your choice from the previous step, interact with your wallet and switch from the RSK mainnet, you should be currently on, to the network which currently holds your Ethereum.
- Select the desired asset you want to bridge over to Sovryn by selecting its icon displayed in the Bridge GUI. In this case, it is Ethereum.
Additionally, the user is offered a choice to use a different wallet.
¶ 6. Enter the amount you want to bridge and deposit to Sovryn
With the respect to the Minimal (0,0100 ETH) and Maximal transferable amount (10 000 000,0000 ETH) decided by the Sovryn platform, enter the Deposit Amount.
The associated fee is displayed at the bottom of the Daily deposit limits.
¶ 7. Review, Confirm, & Approve your transaction
After confirming the bridge entry from the previous step, you will be prompted by your wallet to perform approval and confirmation.
- Confirm the bridging process using your wallet.
Please be advised that the current transaction fees should be in the range of 0.065 GWEI. - Wait for the bridging process to finish. As the result of above mention actions, Ethereum will be displayed on your Portfolio page.
Congratulations! You have successfully bridged your funds from the Ethereum network to Sovryn.
¶ 8. Continue with the Providing the liquidity using the Sovryn AMM section to deposit your bridged ETH to the Sovryn AMM Yield Farming pools.
¶ Providing ETH to the AMM Pool
To provide ETHs to the AMM pool:
- Deposit ETHs tokens to your RSK compatible wallet or bridge ETH from Ethereum. See Bridging ETH to Sovryn.
- Make sure you have an equal value amount of ETHs AND RBTC to provide liquidity in the AMM pool (50/50 ratio).
¶ 1. Access the SOVRYN dapp
- Go to https://live.sovryn.app to access the dapp.
¶ 2. Connect your wallet
- On the top-right of the screen, connect your wallet by clicking the Connect Wallet button.
- Be sure your wallet is switched to the RSK mainnet.
¶ 3. Navigate to the Finance → Yield Farming page
- Using the top-bar main navigation menu, select the Fiance drop-down menu and select Yield Farming.
- After the Yield Farming page is displayed, scroll down a bit and find ETHs rBTC pair.
- Press the Deposit button.
¶ 4. Deposit to the ETH/RBTC Pool
- After pressing the Deposit button, the Deposit Liquidity window will be opened.
- Select the desired amount of ETH you wish to deposit to the pool. In the below example, 0.05 ETH has been input. The AMM automatically calculates the equal value amount of RBTC, which is needed to be supplied alongside Ethereum, in this case, 0.0128 RBTC
- When you are happy with the amount you are providing, click the Deposit button. Both, your Ethereum and RBTC will be stored in the Pool and deducted from your Portfolio page.
¶ 5. Approve & Confirm your transaction
After using the DEPOSIT function from the previous step, you will be prompted by your wallet to perform approval and confirmation.
- Confirm the bridging process using your wallet.
Please be advised that the current transaction fees should be in the range of 0.065 GWEI.
